The Itinerary

Day 01 KL/Kunming/Alu Ancient Cave/Luxi (D)

  • Upon arrival, transfer to visit Alu Ancient Cave.
  • After dinner, visit "Hundred Tiger Walking street".

    Day 02 Luxi/Stone Forest/Kunming (B/L/D)

  • After breakfast, proceed to Stone Forest Scenic Area.
  • Head back to Kunming.
  • En-route visit Baoshutang and Colourful Yunnan.
  • Arrive Kunming, visit Golden Horse Archway, view East & West Temple Pagodas.

    Day 03 Kunming/Dali (B/L/D)

  • Enjoy Puer tea show and visit Dragon Gate and Western Hills (include round trip trolley bus).
  • Overview Dianchi Lake.
  • After lunch, proceed to Dali.
  • Upon arrive, dinner and check-in hotel.

    Day 04 Dali/Lijiang (B/L/D)

  • Visit "Yeyutianze Park", Tianlongbabu Film City and overview Chongshengsi three pagodas.
  • After lunch, visit the Yan peoples' family, enjoy the "Three Course Tea" with singing and dancing performance.
  • Visit Dali ancient town, "Foreingner's Street"
  • Transfer to Lijiang by bus.
  • After dinner, visit Shuhe ancient town.

    Day 05 Lijiang/Tiger Leaping Gorge/Shangrila (B/L/D)

  • After breakfast, transfer to Shangri-la by bus.
  • En-route, overview the first bend of Yangtze River and visit Tiger Leaping Gorge.
  • Upon arrive, visit Dukezong ancient town.

    Day 06 Shangri-la/Lijiang (B/L/D)

  • Visit Shika Snow Mountain by cable car and visit Songzanlin Temple.
  • Transfer back to Lijiang by bus.

    Day 07 Lijiang/Kunming (B/L/D)

  • Proceed to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
  • Visit White River and Ganhaizi Grassland, enjoy the fantastic show of "impression Lijiang".
  • Visit Jade Water Village, Yufengsi lama Buddhism Temple and Dongba Valley.
  • After lunch, visit Black Dragon Pool Park, Lijiang Dayan Ancient Town and Sifang Square.
  • After dinner, take domestic flight back to Kunming.

    Day 08 Kunming/Depart for Home (B/L)

  • Visit flower market and Silk shop.
  • After lunch, depart for home.

    Featured Destinations

    ALU ANCIENT CAVES
  • The Alu Ancient Caves, known as " the First Caves in Yunnan", is a large underground Karsts cave group. When traveling through you can see awesome lifelike stalagmites, Stone columns, stone curtains and stone flowers in each cave.

    STONE FOREST
  • Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has created an art gallery of stone sculpture here. This typical karst physiognomy takes the form of a forest of stone pillars and boulders.

    KUNMING
  • Western Hill and Dragon Gate, enjoy the graceful outlooking of Dian Chi with an area of 300 square kilometers. Touching the center of the arch of Dragon Gate is considered good luck and many people have their pictures taken at this point.

    DALI
  • Dali Ancient City, within the town there are wellpreserved traditional houses of the Bai people. The cute courtyards and peaceful streets treat visitors with calmness and elegance, which were typical in the ancient times. The Three Pagodas are among the oldest standing structures in southwestern China. Clear weather permitting, they look especially pretty when reflected in the nearby Erhai Lake.
  • Tianlongbabu Film City doubles as a cultural theme park, showcasing the country's traditions and past ways of life.

    LIJIANG
  • As the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dayan Ancient Town (Lijiang Ancient Town) is known for its Naxi music, dongba culture and pictographs.
  • Yulong Snow Mountain, with the sea level of over 4500 meters and snow capped all the year round.
  • White Water River, the pebbles in the riverbed are all white marbles and limestone that have been rinsed and scoured by the water. As the limpid and clear river flows above them, it looks undefiled and sparkling.

    ZHONGDIAN
    Tiger Leaping Over The Gorge: Hutiao (Tiger leaping) Gorge Extending for 15 kilometers from the Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang to the Haba Snow Mountain in Zhongdian. Tiger Leaping Gorge is one the longest, deepest and narrowest gorges in the world. According to local legend, the gorge acquired its name because at its narrowest point, a mere 30 meters wide, a tiger leaped over its swirling waters.

    阿庐古洞

  • 被称为"云南第一洞＂的泸西阿庐古洞，是一组规 模宏大、结构奇特的溶洞群。阿庐山奇峰突起，岩石嶙峋，四周有九峰相峙，九峰之中有十八洞府，俗称"九峰十八洞＂。每个洞穴都有数不清的奇石美景，每年吸引数十万中外游客，已经起到"开发一个洞，搞活一个县的经济＂的启动作用，为振兴泸西县经济起着重大作用，已列为国家4A 风景名胜区。

    石林

  • 被喻为天下第一奇观，石林为石灰岩溶岩地貌，亦 是喀斯特地型的一种特殊形态，由巨厚的岩层构 成，其岩峰犹如密布的林木，拨地而起，直刺天 际，远望如一片莽莽森林，因而得名。数不清的崎 岖石峰和高耸峭壁，蔚成一片石峰林海，气势磅薄 开阔。沿途奇石雄伟壯丽，石筝、石柱，別有洞 天。

    昆明

  • 位于中国西南边陲的云贵高原中部，因为"天气常 如二三月，花枝不断四时春"，故素有"春城"之美称
  • 昆明西山公园：西山峰峦起伏，古树参天，涧壑流 泉，百鸟争鸣，云蒸霞蔚，景色秀丽。相传古时有 凤凰停歇，见者不识，呼为碧鸡，故也称"碧鸡 山"。
  • 龙门：西门最壮观的名胜，用七十二年的功夫在悬 崖峭壁上雕刻而成，在此可俯观烟波好浩瀚的滇 池。民间流传“一登龙门，身价十倍”之说。

    【大理】

  • 崇圣寺三塔（远眺）：原是南昭大理国时期一座规 模宏大的寺院。
  • 大理古城：是古丝绸南路的重镇，古城古色古香， 保留传统的大理古城风味，其中有一条洋人街，兩 排全是洋式风情的酒吧和商店， 【丽江】
  • 大研古城（丽江古城）：古城內家家小桥流水，戶 戶垂柳蔽日。在这里还可以看到有些納西人，穿着 传统的納西服装，时间仿佛倒退到古时候。此古城 还有一大特色，它是中国少有的无城墙古城，而且 城中道路曲折，无路标，如一座小迷宮。
  • 玉龙雪山：離丽江15 公里，全山共有13 个山峰， 如擎天玉柱般的耸立在金沙江东侧。主峰扇子徒海 拔5596 公尺，山頂终年积雪，像一条玉龙橫卧在山 巔，因而得名。
  • 大索道：乘缆车上大索道，那里海拔4506 米。索道 全长2914 米，垂直高差1150 米，是云南海拔最高 的旅游客运索道。
  • 白水河：是白色的河床，层层叠叠，连绵不尽。从 远处看去，只見森林之中有一片雪白倒垂而下，令 人惊艳不已。
  • 甘海子: 它原是个高山牧场，现在已变成了牧民的 市集。常看到他们牵着骏马，载着货物来此在以物 易物，马匹上鲜艳的与草原上碧绿的草原相映成 趣，煞是热闹。 【中甸】
  • 虎跳峽：石鼓鎮下游约35 公里的虎跳峽。虎跳峽分 上虎跳、中虎跳、下虎跳三短，东面是玉龙雪山， 西面是迪庆的哈巴雪山，峽谷垂直高差3790 米，是 世界上最深的峽谷之一。江水的落差近200 米，江 中有一巨石橫臥江心，相传猛虎常靠江心巨石躍上 对岸，故名虎跳峽。
