Hanoi Halong Explorer gives you a taste of Halong Bay, a Unesco World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful natural places in the country. You will get to over night on a motorized traditional Vietnamese junk as you enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay around you. It also introduces you to the vibrant city of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, and one of the fastest developing cities in Asia.
Day 1: Hanoi
We welcome you at Hanoi International Airport, and arrange for your transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free and easy at your own leisure. We do not have a fixed program on the first day as a precaution against any unforeseen flight delays. Use the opportunity to do a bit of introductory exploration of Hanoi.
Day 2: Halong Bay (B/L/D)
We pick you up at your hotel around 7:45 to 8:30 a.m for your transfer to Ha Long City. Your coach makes a short stop half way at Dai Nghia Humanity Center in Hai Duong City, where you can come down to look around. Upon arrival at Ha Long City around 11:30 a.m, you get on board the motorized Dragon Junk where your lunch is served. After lunch, the tour guide takes you to the most beautiful cave called
Surprised Cave. Enjoy the landscapes of Stone Dog Island, Cat Islet, Lu Huong Islet,
Fighting Cock Islet, then visit
Titop Island for kayaking and swimming. You have opportunity to visit Tunnel cave by swimming or small bamboo boat. At last, check in on boat for fresh water shower and have dinner (10 USD added for air-con room). In the evening, you can play the role of impromptu fishermen as you attemple to catch cuttle fish from your motorised junk.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
You wake up this morning to enjoy the serene beauty of Halong Bay. Your motorised junk takes you on a morning cruise through Ha Long Bay, and makes a stopover at Bai Tu Long Bay. It is one of the most spectacular bays at Halong Bay, with islands of different shapes. You have the opportunity to explore Hon Gai Market, Poem Island.
Upon returning to Ha Long City, you will be served lunch in a restaurant. After lunch, your coach returns you to Hanoi, where you arrive 4.00 p.m. The remainder of the day is fee at your own leisure.

Arrange with the hotel to book for you tickets to watch the Vietnamese Water Puppet show at the
Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, at your own cost.
Day 4: Hanoi (B/L)
It's a busy day today as we explore the many sights in Hanoi. Your tour guide comes to fetch you from your hotel to take you to sightsee Hanoi. You will visit the
Municipal Theatre, a typical opera house built by the French in 1911, the
History Museum which exhibits artifacts from prehistory to the history of the communist party. Visit
Hoan Kiem Lake and
Den Ngoc Son Temple - in the heart of the city. Then, transfer to the Old Quarter to witness ordinary life in Hanoi.
After lunch of Bun Cha (grilled meat on rice noodles), we continue to the
Army Museum. It displays scale models of various epic battles from the long military history of Vietnam to the capture of Saigon. We also visit Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh declared independence in 1945, Quan Thanh Temple and the Museum of Ethnology where you can look at the cultural mosaic of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.
Day 5: Hanoi - Home (B)
No activities are planned for the last day, so that you have the chance to relax and pack up your souvenirs. It is free and easy until time to transfer to airport, bringing home lovely memories of Vietnam.
