If you ask me what's the most beautiful planet in
Phuket, I will definitely say "Promthep Cape".
Promthep Cape is the tongue of land near the southernmost part of Phuket. This is where the island of Phuket juts out into the sea.
We visited Promthep Cape when we were on our trip to Phuket with Beautiful Planet. The tour of Promthep Cape was done in the evening, so that we get to view the sun setting in the horizon.
After parking our van at the car park, our guide took us on a short walk in the park. From the pathway, we can already get a good view of the surrounding. The place is indeed scenic. At Promthep Cape, the grassy cliff slopes steeply into the Andaman Sea. I can see the waves crashing onto the huge boulders at the bottom of the cliff. The sea is a beautiful blue, not like the sea back home.
From where I stand, the wind is quite strong, so many of the trees are bend to one side. The grass is also swaying in the wind, looking like waves. Here and there, I see sugar palms. There are no coconut trees, so the scenery is quite different from the usual seaside view. Unlike coconut trees, the sugar palm trees spread their leaves out like fans.
The sea is very clear at Promthep Cape. From the top of the cliff you can look down at the rocks on the seabed. I can see patches of different colours in the sea, between where there are coral reefs and where it is sandy. The feeling of standing there at Promthep Cape and enjoying the wind blowing at you is so nice, I wish I can be there every day. Unfortunately, as the sun sets, the sky begins to get dark, and soon it was time to leave.
Promthep Cape is certainly a wonderful experience. Be sure to ask about it when you book your tour to Phuket. Call Beautiful Planet to ask for it.
