If you love natural beauty, you must visit Phi Phi Island. It is one of the most beautiful island in the world. I have been there a few times, and I still enjoy each visit I make to Phi Phi.
Phi Phi Island is actually two islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. Phi Phi Don is the bigger island. It is where you find a fishing village, restaurants and accommodation. Phi Phi Ley, which is the smaller island, is where you can find all the beautiful sceneries. Phi Phi Ley is uninhabited, and people only go there to swim, picnic, and enjoy the scenery.
Phi Phi Ley is a karst island. It comprises limestone outcrops that emerge from the sea. Much of Phi Phi Ley has sheer cliffs that drops straight into the sea. From your boat, you feel like the island forms a wall around you. Phi Phi Ley has many coves and lagoons which invites you to explore. It is where the move "The Beach" was shot. Although a lot of visitors have discovered the island because of the move, Phi Phi Ley manages to remain pristine, although we can't tell for how long. My only advise is to see it when it is still beautiful, and when you go there, please do not litter or do anything that will pollute it.
